  • He won Katara Prize for Arabic Novel 2015, for his novel (snakes of fire / Ali Bin Mahmoud Alqassad love story), and (rifqa doudin's prize for narrative creativity) for his novel (dreamer guillotine), and (roks ben zaeid al uzaizy prize for narrative creativity), for his short fiction (Earthquake).
  • Jalal barjes was born in 6 March 1970 at Hanina village near Madaba, Jordan, he graduated in its schools, and then studied aeronautical engineering and worked in this field for many years, then he moved to work in the Jordanian press as an editor in the (Alanbat) newspaper , and then as a reporter for the (Adustour) newspaper.
