Zoran Zaev (Macedonian: ????? ????, ['z?r?n 'z?(j)?f]; born 8 October 1974) is a Macedonian economist and politician who has served as the Prime Minister of North Macedonia since 31 May 2017.
Prior to taking office as Prime Minister, Zaev was a member of North Macedonia’s parliament between 2003 and 2005, and mayor of Strumica between 2005 and 2016.
He is president of the centre-left Social Democratic Union of Macedonia.
