George Fletcher Chandler, M.D.
(December 13, 1872 – November 6, 1964), was a surgeon, officer in the National Guard of New York, and state police administrator.
He was appointed by the governor to organize the New York State Police, newly authorized in 1917, and served as its first Superintendent.
