Milka Planinc (pronounced [mî?lka planint?s]; 21 November 1924 – 7 October 2010) was a Yugoslav politician from Croatia.
She served as Prime Minister of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 1982 to 1986, the first and only woman to hold this office.
Planinc was the first female head of government in a diplomatically recognized Communist state, with the first in a partially recognized Communist country being Khertek Anchimaa-Toka of the Tuvan People's Republic, who was also the first female non-hereditary head of state.
