Gareth John Bennett (born 1 December 1968) is a Welsh politician who served as Welsh Assembly Leader of the UK Independence Party from 2018 to 2019, and has served as Member of the National Assembly for Wales for South Wales Central since 2016.
On 10 August 2018 he was elected the leader of UKIP in the National Assembly for Wales.
On 7 November 2019, he quit UKIP to become an independent politician.
