- Berglund was drafted 91st overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers.Berglund began playing youth hockey as a 14-year old within the SkellefteƄ AIK organization.
- He made his senior Swedish Hockey League debut with SkellefteĆ„ AIK during the 2015ā16 season.
