About Álvaro Bautista
- Álvaro Bautista Arce (born 21 November 1984) is a Spanish motorcycle road racer and former 125 cc World Champion.
- After the 2019 World Superbike season with the factory Ducati team, for 2020 he is contracted to ride the new Honda Fireblade in world superbikes, with the team being run for the first time under full HRC control.Bautista competed for the Suzuki team in his first two years after moving into the Superbike World Championship class in 2010.
- He moved to the Honda-equipped Gresini Racing team starting in the 2012 season, and continued with the team using Aprilia machinery when the factory returned to MotoGP racing for the 2015 season.
- Bautista rode a Ducati with the Aspar (then Ángel Nieto Team) MotoGP Team in 2017 and 2018, before moving to the Superbike World Championship for 2019 also on a Ducati, this time with the Aruba.it Ducati WorldSBK Team.
