Indian barrister, writer, and social reformer; first female graduate from Bombay University, first woman to study law at Oxford University; first Indian national to study at a British university
Cornelia Sorabji (15 November 1866 – 6 July 1954) was an Indian woman who was the first female graduate from Bombay University, the first woman to study law at Somerville College, Oxford University and the first female advocate in India, and the first woman to practice law in India and Britain.
In 2012, a bust of her was unveiled at Lincoln's Inn, London.
A Google Doodle celebrated her 151st birthday on 15 November 2017.
