As Founder Charter Member of TiE Islamabad, Imtiaz Rastgar mentors young entrepreneurs and also chairs the Higher Education Commission's Committee on Knowledge Transfer so as to bring an economic impact from interaction between businesses and the Universities of Pakistan.
