Eva Rieger (21 November 1940, Isle of Man) is a German musicologist.
After Sophie Drinker, Rieger was the first in the world to work on the social and cultural history of women in music culture.
Together with the German-Swiss patron Mariann Steegmann, Rieger developed the idea of a foundation for the advancement of women in music and art, the Mariann-Steegmann-Foundation.
In 2012, she was appointed Honorary Senator of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg.
