- Samuel Richard Darnold (born June 5, 1997) is an American football quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL).
- He played college football at USC, and was selected third overall by the Jets in the 2018 NFL Draft. Darnold was a two-sport athlete at San Clemente High School, playing football and basketball.
