Robert John Arthur Halford (born 25 August 1951) is a British musician, songwriter and an author.
He is best known as the lead vocalist of the Grammy Award-winning heavy metal band Judas Priest.
He is famous for his powerful wide-ranging voice and his trademark leather-and-studs image, both of which became iconic in heavy metal.
