About Abbas Ali Atwi
- Abbas Ali Atwi (Arabic: ???? ??? ?????; born 15 December 1984), also known as Onika (Arabic: ???????), is a Lebanese professional footballer who plays as a striker for Lebanese Premier League club Ansar.He started his career playing for Al-Bourj FC.
- In 2003 and 2004, he played for Olympic Beirut before signing with Al Ahed in 2005.
- Atwi has made several appearances for the Lebanon national football team, including seven qualifying matches for the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups.He earned his nickname "Onika" in reference to the Lebanese chocolate bar "Unica" as, after being involved in a non-fatal car accident as a kid, the first thing he asked his mother was the chocolate bar that he was holding in his hand prior to the accident.
- He is not related to fellow Lebanese football player Abbas Ahmed Atwi.
