About Akuila Uate
- Akuila Uate (born 6 October 1987) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays on the wing for the Huddersfield Giants in the Super League.
- He is both a Fiji and Australian international. He previously played for the Newcastle Knights, where he is the highest try-scorer in their history, as well as the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the NRL. A three time Dally M Winger of the Year, he has represented New South Wales in State of Origin.
- He has represented the Prime Minister's XIII, NRL All Stars, Country NSW and the World All Stars team.
