Mike Pawley OAM (also known as Mick Pawley, born 10 March 1944) is an Australian former cricketer, philanthropist and local business owner.
He played eleven first-class matches for New South Wales between 1969/70 and 1973/74.Pawley currently owns and runs a chain of local sports stores, Mike Pawley Sports, with 5 stores across Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Pawley sponsors the Manly Warringah District Cricket Club, as well as a variety of local clubs.
Additionally, he founded and runs the Happy Days Cambodian Village School Charity.
Pawley is a well renowned, well respected member of the Northern Beaches community.
Mike Pawley Oval in North Curl Curl is named after him.
Pawley previously studied a Bachelor of Science and Diploma of Education at Sydney University, was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in 2011 and is a life member of Cricket NSW.
