About André Chastagnol

  • André Chastagnol (21 February 1920 – 2 September 1996) was a 20th-century French historian, specializing in Latin epigraphy and literature. After teaching at the universities of Algiers, Rennes and Paris X-Nanterre, he finished his career as a professor at the Paris-Sorbonne University.
