Andrés Velasco Brañes (Spanish pronunciation: [an'ð?es ße'lasko]; born August 30, 1960) is an economist and professor.
He served as the finance minister of Chile from March 2006 to March 2010, the whole of the first presidential period of Michelle Bachelet.
He is currently the Dean of the School of Public Policy at the London School of Economics.
