Neethan Shanmugarajah (listen) (Tamil: ????? ??????????, romanized: Nita? Ca?mukaraja; born December 24, 1978), known professionally as Neethan Shan, is a Tamil Canadian youth worker and politician.
He was elected to Toronto City Council in the by-election held on February 13, 2017, becoming the first Tamil Canadian to serve on city council.
Shan was defeated in his 2018 reelection bid.
