- She has been a member of the Canada women's national softball team since 2013, and finished her senior season at the University of Minnesota in 2017.
- She was a three-time All-American, tabbing herself as a two time pick for 1st team (2016, 2017 seasons).
- Sara owns the all-time Strikeout record at the University of Minnesota with 1,214 career strikeouts.
- She was the second overall draft pick in the 2017 NPF draft and signed a contract to play for the Akron Racers.
