  • Erico Spinadel (6 May 1929, Vienna, Austria) is an Austrian and Argentine Industrial Engineer specialized in Wind Power.
  • He has got his PhD at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2004.
  • Erico Spinadel joined 1956 the Argentine National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) and in January 1959 he was the first operator driving a nuclear reactor (the RA 1) to critical conditions, and in this way, started the use of nuclear energy in the southern hemisphere, generating electricity and also producing radioisotopes for hospitals and for industrial applications.
  • Between 1994 and 2001, he was Consulting Full Professor at the University of Buenos Aires, School of Engineering, Argentina.
