- He successfully climbed Mt.
- Everest on May 19, 2016 in the name of Huntington's disease, planting a flag with the names of 200 people whose lives have been claimed by Huntington's disease, on the summit.
- At the time of his summit, at 26 years old, he became the youngest South African to summit Mt.
- Everest.
- Turner was at base camp on Mt.
