Adecer entered Philippine showbiz as a contestant in StarStruck's sixth season where he was named as the "Ultimate Male Survivor." Adecer is known for his role as Anthony in the 2016 retelling-sequel of Encantadia and as Yuan in Philippine adaptation of My Love from the Star.
