About Charles de Freycinet
- Charles Louis de Saulces de Freycinet (French: [?a?l d? f??jsin?]; 14 November 1828 – 14 May 1923) was a French statesman and four times Prime Minister during the Third Republic.
- He also served an important term as Minister of War (1888–93).
- He belonged to the Opportunist Republicans faction. He was elected a member of the Academy of Sciences, and in 1890, the fourteenth member to occupy a seat in the Académie française.
