Matej Benuš (born 2 November 1987) is a Slovak slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2002.
He won a silver medal in the C1 event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
He also won ten medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with nine golds (C1 team: 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019) and a bronze (C1: 2011).
He is a three-time overall world cup champion in the C1 class (2010, 2015, 2019).
At the European Championships he won a total of ten medals (7 golds, 1 silver and 2 bronzes).
