  • Maria Frances Lewis Miller (born 26 March 1964) is a British Conservative Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Basingstoke since 2005.
  • She was the Minister for Disabled People from 2010 to 2012, and from 2012 to 2014 a member of the Cabinet as Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and Minister for Women and Equalities.
  • She felt obliged to resign from the Cabinet in April 2014 because she had over-claimed expenses.
  • Since June 2015 she has chaired the Women and Equalities Select Committee.
