Güldal Aksit (pronounced [?y?da? 'ak?it]; born January 23, 1960 in Malatya, Turkey) was a Turkish politician and the President of the Parliamentary Commission on Equal Opportunities for Men and Women.
She was the Minister of Culture and Tourism in the cabinet of Abdullah Gül and the first cabinet of Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
In 1976 she married Ugur Mumcu, a prominent investigative journalist of the newspaper Cumhuriyet who was murdered 1993.
On the 22 July 2007 she was elected as a deputy of the CHP for Izmir to the Turkish Parliament.She graduated from Hacettepe University and Istanbul University Faculty of Law.
