- He began and finished his career with his hometown club, HC Slovan Bratislava of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
- He played 14 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Los Angeles Kings, Edmonton Oilers, Anaheim Ducks and the New York Islanders.
