(Spanish pronunciation: [alo'ma?], ; born June 18, 1966) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball catcher, coach, and manager.
He played in Major League Baseball catcher for the San Diego Padres, Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, Colorado Rockies, Texas Rangers, Los Angeles Dodgers, and New York Mets between 1988 and 2007.Alomar is a six-time All-Star.
He is the son of former major leaguer Sandy Alomar Sr.
and the brother of Hall of Fame second baseman Roberto Alomar.
