  • Known by his nickname "Lucho", he won his 2 career singles titles, reached the quarterfinals of the 2004 Madrid Masters and achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No.
  • 33 in August 2004. Together with Pablo Cuevas, Horna also won the men's doubles at the 2008 French Open.
  • At the 2003 French Open, he defeated Roger Federer in the first round, who went on to win his first grand slam at Wimbledon several weeks later.
