  • Faouzi Chaouchi (Arabic: ???? ??????; born 5 December 1984) is an Algerian professional football goalkeeper who last played for Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 club CA Bordj Bou Arréridj and the Algerian national team.Chaouchi is considered to be national hero by many Algerians, as he put in a heroic performance in the play-off that put the Algerian national team into their first World Cup finals since 1986 at the expense of their bitter rivals Egypt.
