Vebjørn Selbekk (born 14 April 1969) is a Norwegian newspaper editor and author.
Selbekk became widely known in Norway and abroad after he in 2006 reprinted a facsimile of the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons as editor of the Christian newspaper Magazinet (now Dagen), sparking a major incident and ensuing controversy.
He has since been awarded by the free press organization Fritt Ord for his "firm defence of freedom of expression".
Since 2015 he has been a member of the Broadcasting Council of the Norwegian public broadcaster NRK.
