About Hossam Ghaly
- Hossam El Sayed Ghaly (Arabic: ???? ?????; born 15 December 1981), also known as El Capitano, is an Egyptian retired professional football player who lastly played for the Egyptian club Al Ahly.
- He played mostly as a central midfielder, but was also deployed as a full-back. He has played 70 international matches for Egypt since his debut in 2002, and was part of their squads for the 2004 African Cup of Nations and their victory in the same tournament in 2010. Ghaly played for Tottenham Hotspur of the Premier League between 2006 and 2009 enjoying a remarkable run of good form.His last match was on 11 May 2018 between Al Ahly SC and Ajax FC in UAE, which concluded in Al Ahly SC winning the match.
