Shruti Seth Aslam is an Indian actress and a television VJ, born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Seth rose to fame for her role as Jiya Malhotra in Star Plus' hit comedy series Shararat.

She was the female lead of the comedy show TV, Biwi aur Main on SAB TV Seth ventured into more prominent film roles later in her career, having made her debut in 2003 with Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II.
