About Guido Rossa

  • Guido Rossa was an Italian worker and syndicalist who was born in Venice and lived most of his adult life in Torino.
  • His first job was as a parts mechanic for 14 years.
  • He moved to Genova to work as a laborer as a worker with the labor union FIOM-CGIL.
  • As a member of the Communist Party of Italy, he was a syndicalist for the labor union CGIL of the branch in Genova-Cornigliano.
  • He was accused of having denounced a colleague to the police, and killed by the Red Brigades on 24 January 1979, during the Years of Lead.
