- He played for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball (MLB) in 2017 and 2018 before retiring.
- Before beginning his professional career, Marjama played college baseball for the Long Beach State Dirtbags. In 2019 he accepted a contract to play with The Brisbane Bandits in the Australian Baseball League
