- James Mitchell (born 15 January 1991) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Rockhampton Rockets of the Queensland Basketball League (QBL).
- Between 2010 and 2016, he was based in his hometown of Cairns playing for the Marlins and the Taipans.
- In March 2017, he joined the Rockhampton Rockets.
- In November 2017, he moved overseas for the first time to play in England for the Sheffield Sharks.
