- Sam Clancy (born May 29, 1958 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is a former defensive end in the National Football League.
- He played for the Seattle Seahawks, Cleveland Browns, and Indianapolis Colts.
- He also played for the Pittsburgh Maulers and the Memphis Showboats of the United States Football League. Prior to his professional football career, he was a standout college basketball player for the University of Pittsburgh and played a season in the Continental Basketball Association for the Billings Volcanos in 1981-82, averaging 11.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.
