About Anatoly Demitkov

  • Anatoly Nikolayevich Demitkov (27 May 1926 – 15 August 2005) was a Soviet canoeist.
  • He took the silver medal in the K-2 1000 m event at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne together with Mikhail Kaaleste.
  • They went on to win the European Championship in 1957 and took third place at the 1958 Flatwater Racing World Championship in Prague.
