Rita Jenrette (née Carpenter, born November 25, 1949) is an American celebrity, actress, television journalist, real estate executive, and proponent of architectural restoration.
She is most well known for her work in restoring and promoting research on the Casino dell'Aurora of the Villa Ludovisi.
The house is famous for its ceiling fresco by Guercino, which gave its name to the villa, and for its ceiling painting by Caravaggio.
The property still contains important pieces of classical sculpture from the historic Ludovisi collection, most of which is now in Palazzo Altemps Museum in Rome.
