He was born in Sarniv, Volochysk Raion, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Ukraine. Mozhovyy's major success was the song "Kray, miy ridniy kray", written for Sofia Rotaru and produced by Melodiya. He was a manager of Palace "Ukraine" in 2000s.
