Vladimir Ivanovich Nevsky (2 (14) May 1876, Rostov on Don – 26 May 1937) was a Russian revolutionary, Bolshevik functionary and historian.
He was born Feodosii Ivanovich Krivobokov and joined the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party in 1898.
He was a graduate of the University of Kharkov.
He became a full-time revolutionary in 1905 and was appointed Commissar of Communication in the first Soviet government.Nevsky was the founding rector of the Sverdlov Communist University, 1919-21.
