  • She was a seam bowler and took 21 wickets in 15 one-day internationals for the national women's team, the White Ferns.King played for the Wellington women's cricket team before joining the New Zealand team.
  • In 2001, she was awarded the Trish McKelvey Trophy for the most outstanding player of the national under-21 tournament.
