She is best known as the creator of the dramedy series Gilmore Girls, Bunheads, and The Marvelous Mrs.
Maisel. Sherman-Palladino has received four Primetime Emmy Awards for her work, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Music Supervision, all for The Marvelous Mrs.

She is the first woman in history to win in the comedy writing and directing categories at the Primetime Emmy Awards.
