Leonid Vasil’evich Smirnov (Russian: ???????, ?????? ??????????) (3 April 1916 - 21 December 2001) was director of the missile factory at Dnipropetrovsk in the late 1950s, developing strategic missiles for the defence of the USSR.
In March 1963 he became Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, reporting to Minister of Defence Dmitriy Ustinov.
