Shonekan (born October 28, 1940) is a Nigerian civil servant.
Shonekan spent much of her career with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
She was appointed as a Federal Civil Service Commissioner from October 1, 1986 until March 31, 1994.
She also briefly served as the First Lady of Nigeria from August 26, 1993, until November 17, 1993, during the transitional presidency of her husband, Ernest Shonekan.
