Héctor Gros Espiell (17 September 1926 in Montevideo – 30 November 2009) was a Uruguayan jurist, politician and diplomat.
He was a specialist in international criminal law.
Affiliated to the National Party, during the tenure of Luis Alberto Lacalle as President he was Minister of Foreign Affairs (1990–1993).
He was a member of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
In 2005 he was Ambassador to France.
He was a Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Western Sahara.
His last important activity was at The Hague, in the Uruguay River pulp mill dispute.
