She was best known for playing the roles of Hala Hussein, Saddam's daughter, in the BBC/HBO series House of Saddam and Mary Magdalene in The Bible series and Son of God.
Later she appeared in From Paris With Love (2010) and Aazaan (2011).
She plays the role of Dinah Madani in the Netflix original series The Punisher.
