Friedrich Klose (born November 29, 1862– died December 24, 1942) was a German composer.
His opera Ilsebill (1903) is inspired by the music of Richard Wagner and Richard Strauss, and the plot is based on the Brothers Grimm tale of a fisherman who catches a huge fish which grants wishes.He composed a string quartet in E? major subtitled "Ein Tribut in vier Raten entrichtet an Seine Gestrengen den deutschen Schulmeister" in 1911.
Klosé composed seventeen duets for clarinet.
