Adi Braun (born November 23, 1962) is a Canadian jazz and cabaret vocalist and composer.She was born Adreana Braun in Toronto but spent most of her childhood in Germany.
Her parents were opera singers Victor Braun (1935–2001) and Eraine Braun.
She began studying piano at the age of six.
She studied classical music at the University of Toronto and performed for several years as a classical singer, most notably with the Canadian Opera Company and Opera Atelier.
She has a degree in vocal music from the University of Toronto.In 2000 Braun began moving to her first love of popular music.
Her albums include Delishious (2003), The Rules of the Game (2005), Live at the Metropolitan Room (2008) and Canadian Scenes I (2010).
All were released by her label, Blue Rider Records.
Her brother Russell is an operatic baritone and her brother Torsten is the founder and lead singer of the rock group Defective by Design.
