  • Major (born June 21, 1968) is an American basketball coach who was most recently the head coach at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2010 to 2015.
  • Before being named coach of the Charlotte 49ers, Major spent nine years working with Thad Matta at Ohio State and Xavier universities.
  • Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, he is a 1992 graduate of Purdue.
